Call us at It's kinda hard to be accurate without actually seeing you in person, but it comes down to what the dominant undertone is in your skin is and how you want your skin to look. I find that people who really fit in the NC category, the NWs are way too pink on their skin.
The Cs are also pretty yellow compared to the Ns. Again, it all comes down to what you are trying to achieve with your foundation. Shawna New member. I am almost the same skintone as you.
I have swedish and english heritage and I am white white white. I am having the same problem as you. I was put into NW20 first and it was way too pink.

Then they put me in N4, which I find is still slightly pink. I am now using NC20, which seems okay, but I don't know if it is perfect either. No one seems to know what I really am. I just know the N4 was barely different from the NW20 on me. In the mean time I am using Mac Face and Body in N1 and N2 depending on the season because it is neutral, but I like putting Studio Fix on top and can't find the exact colour I should have.

Does anyone know if N3 if really light, and is it less pink than N4. Any help would be great. I don't live real close to a Mac counter, so sometimes I just order by phone and it is hard to look at the shades. When I do get to a counter though which is about 2 hours from here, they never agree on what I am anyway. Thanks and good luck to you Eleven.

The effect is ultra natural; this is the foundation to fool your family and friends, the pigment is oh-so-fine and utterly undetectable. But dewy finishes never last on my skin, Karima. Drier skins can enjoy the luminosity but normal to combination skins will require a blot after 6 or so hours, while oilier skintypes will have to commit to frequent blotting and powdering, which may prove too much hassle. It also photographs relatively well but not my most photogenic foundation due to 1 the sheen, which picks up on flash and 2 the sheerer coverage, because the tale that slightly heavier makeup photographs better runs true, in my experience.
